My client manufactures and repairs white metal bearings for rotating equipment OEM's and service repair companies worldwide. They have been manufacturing and repairing bearings for more than 30 years. Due to the expansion of the business they are looking to increase their internal account management team.
As the new internal account manager, you will be joining an existing team who are responsible for delivering growth from both new and existing customers. Key responsibilities include:
1 Managing existing client relationships from order to receipt from order to receipt for your portfolio
2 Identify new business opportunities
3 Proactive stewardship of your portfolio (90% internal and 10% external). The majority of customer interface shall be on the phone/email, however it is anticipate approximately 10% shall require customer visits.
4 Proactive follow up on quotations to secure the business
5 Prepare quotations with other team members.
Essential skills for the role:
* Good interpersonal skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Highly motivated and willingness to learn
* Computer literacy
Desirable skills for the role:
* Previous tendering experience would be an advantage
* Previous experience of white metal bearings
* Previous production experience
* Knowledge of rotating equipment.
