I'm currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join one of my clients in Blackpool.

My client processes the wages for the whole company which is approx 1600 staff. This includes 6 weekly and 17 monthly payrolls using the iTrent payroll system.

Working for a national company with 12 depots, they are never a quiet team! They also offer full training, good hours (8am-4pm) and a fun and supportive working environment.

Responsibilities:

-Process weekly and monthly payrolls from start to finish to include:

* Importing timesheets from Excel into iTrent
* Inputting & processing payroll amendments
* Processing leavers and manually calculating holiday pay
* Processing new starter documentation
* Calculating the payroll
* Running & checking reports
* Checking payslips
* Producing depot reports for approval

-Running payroll costing reports, completing the payroll journal & posting onto finance system & monthly reconciliation of the payroll

-Providing cover for other payrolls

-Assisting with processing pensions for the group

-Answering the phone and dealing with wage queries





Person Specification:

* Experience in Payroll favourable
* Experience in Accounts
* Strong Excel skills
* Accurate in processing information
* Able to work under pressure and work to deadlines
* Excellent communicator and a good sense of humour - team fit is important
